Hurtigruten - or Hurtigruta ("Express Route", sometimes translated as Norwegian Coastal Express) is a biggest Norwegian passenger and freight line with daily departures along Norway's coast. Ships sail almost the entire length of the country ( route start in Bergen - 60,2216N, goes north until North Cape - 71,18N and then south to Kirkenes 69,43N), completing the roundtrip journey in 11 days. The journey has been described as the "World's Most Beautiful Sea Voyage." Highlights include the Hanseatic League city of Bergen, the Geiranger fjord (summer only), Lofoten Islands and of course Tromsø ;).
